THE ADELAIDE FRINGE HAS LANDED...
It certainly is one small step for man, woman or child to get to one of the 700 odd shows featured in the 2010 Adelaide Fringe. With that much entertainment on offer, it will be impossible to moonwalk anywhere across Adelaide without encountering life of the Adelaide Fringe kind.
Especially with the eight huge 10 - 12metre inflatable astronaut sculptures touching down in various locations across the city. View a time lapse video of the installation in Victoria Square

YES, THAT'S RIGHT
Two of the Adelaide Fringe’s intrepid explorers will land at Victoria Square; one will climb the Nova 919 building on Hindmarsh Square; one will crash land at the Garden of Unearthly Delights at Rundle Park; one will scale the BankSA building on King William Street; one will scan the skies for space junk at AC Arts at Light Square; one will stake his claim to the Adelaide City Council Town Hall on King William Street and one will land next to Amococo in Rymill Park.
The astronauts echo the design of the 2010 Adelaide Fringe poster, which features poster competition winner David Capriotti’s design of an astronaut wearing a tutu. Capriotti designed the astronaut wearing a tutu to illustrate “How something everyday and familiar, like our city, is completely transformed when the Adelaide Fringe is on”.
And just like the Adelaide Fringe, they light up the city at night!
